IRIB’s Ofoq channel just aired the documentary film ‘Saudi Arabia Uncovered’.
The flick delves into rarely touched issues in a society run by Saudi rulers, and tries to explore the dark side of the despotic monarchy, vis-à-vis the efforts of a nation that is working to bring about change.
The 2016 documentary, directed by James Jones, an Emmy Award-winning and five-time BAFTA-nominated director, has won the Royal Television Society Award for the movie.
The film was also nominated for the Amnesty Media Award for Best Documentary in 2016.
